About the Position

Job Title

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Travel | Nights

Location

Saint Louis, MO | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12 (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13-Week Assignment | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services across multiple areas of the hospital including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma units
Operate and manage equipment including Avea ventilators, LTV transport ventilators, V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, and Airvo high-flow devices
Stabilize and support respiratory patients in high-volume, high-acuity settings including a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
Document and manage patient care using EPIC EMR
Participate in weekend and on-call coverage as required by the facility
Float to other areas of the facility as required

Required Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
Active Missouri Board for Respiratory Care license required
BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
Minimum 1 year of experience in adult critical care and high-volume ED with Trauma experience
Flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required for assignments running November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

PALS certification
Experience with arterial blood gas draws and processing on GEM analyzer
Proficiency in blood gas interpretation
Experience working with diverse patient populations including SICU, CCU, CVICU, ED, Neuro, and Trauma patients
