Civil Litigation Associate Attorney
A well-established civil defense firm is seeking an Associate Attorney with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join its growing team. This position will allow for one day of remote work following the probationary period.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, motions, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
- Manage all aspects of discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
- Take and defend depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts
- Represent clients in hearings, conferences, and trials
- Communicate regularly with clients and insurance carriers regarding case strategy and developments
- Independently manage case files, deadlines, and competing priorities
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school
- Active PA bar admission required; NJ dual admission a plus
- 2+ years of civil litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Ability to independently manage a varied litigation caseload
- Excellent organizational and case management skills
